Overview
Labiaplasty is a common surgical procedure that helps reduce the size of the labia minora or majora. Patients that suffer from an enlarged labia may experience discomfort while sitting, exercising, or during intercourse and may be self-conscious about the appearance of their labia. Many women live with discomfort, shame, embarrassment in relationship and may even avoid wearing tight-fitting clothing because of labial appearances. As a cosmetic gynecologist, I will ensure that your consultation, will educate as well as make you as comfortable as possible. We will also customize a surgical plan.

Once the procedure is complete, patients can expect to go home same day, and are given after care instructions and prescribed pain medication.
How Long Does Labiaplasty Procedure Take?
The surgery may take 2 to 3 hours, depending on complexity , detail of the planned procedure and the anatomy. We review all the incisions (labia reduction) with you prior to surgery and make sure the labia removal and clitoral hood, are carefully shaped.
We recommend 1-2 weeks before patients return to their normal routine, at least 2-3 weeks before exercising, and at least 6 weeks before patients have sexual intercourse. Results can be seen as swelling decreases and surgery scars begin to heal and fade.
The total cost for a labiaplasty can range from $5,000-$7,500.
All of this includes:
Preoperative visit (in person or virtual), Procedure, Anesthetic meds and Post operative visit.
